You can not always carry your pet in hands, but you do not want to leave it. In such cases a dog carrier is a necessary thing.  When you go somewhere for a long time in community transport, this handy and very good-looking accessory will help you a lot.

Choose a carrier according to the season. Fabric is the most important aspect. For winter choose natural or artificial leather. Such things are very hard-wearing, soil-proof and can be washed easily. They also look very fancy as the DogModa's products do. Insulating layer of syntepone, foam plastic or artificial fur will come in handy. The inside part of the bag should be covered with a warm fabric or fur so that your pet will not get cold and be comfortable.

Regardless of season dog carriers must have a side window or better two—to ensure effective ventilation. The window should preferably be covered with a mesh. This will ensure additional protection against wind and will not let your friend fall out of the bag. Besides there should be a spring hook for collar because some dogs are curious and spy out of the window so actively that it can jump out from their shelter.

It is very important that the bag holds it shape, particularly at the bottom. Plastic or MDF inserts are the best option. Otherwise the bottom will swag under your pet, especially if it is a bigger breed. Your pet who you fondle so much will hardly appreciate walking in something like a sack. Modern carriers are provided with plastic inserts which are easy to take out and then wash the bag.

The carrier should be spacious enough to let your dog sit and lie. Otherwise your pet can lash out and its protests will be heard not by you but also those around you.

Pockets where you can put small things will be an additional benefit. It will be even better if there is an additional cell for stuff where you can put the clothes, food and toys of your favourite.

Clasps are a mandatory attribute of carriers.  Modern manufacturers offer zip and Velcro fasteners and buttons. Zip fastening is a better option because of its reliability. It will not get off or unfasten and you will not get in such a trouble.
